This basketball net was a Christmas gift for our 8 year old son. He has asthma and is not able to participate is most sports which require a lot of running. When he expressed an interest in shooting baskets, We thought that this would be the ideal gift. My husband did not install_ the basketball backboard and hoop without first driving around thru the Shores making sure that there were other homes with the same sort of set up. He found many, many such basketball set ups. In fact several of our friends also have their basketball nets located in the front of their homes. I hope that you will not make us remove our basket1:.11 backboard. I have lived in Miami Shores since I was 8 years old. I like to think of the Shores as an area that welcomes families with young children and that children be allowed to play on their own property. Our neighbors do not object, to the location of the basketball backboard and hoop and I hope you don't as well. Sincerely, diaa ii?Adta07,„ Debbie Madsen 335 N.E. 93rd Street Miami Shores, Fla. 33138
