Area is one of few in the community where four such homes are side by side. Structure was once used as the first rectory for St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, one of the largest churches in Miami Shores. The present owner served as Mayor of Miami Shores from 1975 -77 and on the Village Council for 8 years. The home was built as a spec house by Town 4 Farm Realty, one of the builders active in the original Shoreland Company development of the Miami Shores subdivision. Site Name Old St. Rose of Lima Rector 313 NE 92nd Street Miami Shores, FL Home is a two -story structure of Mediterranean Revival design. 'There have been numerous additions and alterations to the structure including a single -story wing on W with flat roof and parapet, and narrow horizontal windows. A projecting roof over the entry door (S) is faced with vertical wood siding. Entrance is located in the "L" created by two masses.
