1. Design load walls In and out 13pst roofs up and down 7 psf. Safety factor -

2. Scroencioth openings to be 60$ or greater.
3. Aluminum beans and columns shall be a minimum of .055 inch thick with
tolerance as per Aluminum Association Construction Manual.
4. Aluminum chair rail, purlins, bottom rail, house fascia plate, rorner
columns and top perimeter members shall be a minimum of .040 inch thick
with no minus tolerance.
5. All exposed fasteners shall be nonmagnetic stainless steel or aluminum
except cable hardware fasteners which may be hot -dip galvanized steel.
Non- exposed fasteners may be magnetic stainless steel.
6. All masonry anchoring devices shall be made of non - corrosive metallic
construction or made of virgin P.V.C. plastic or materiel of approved
equivalent durability.
7. Bolt or screw fastenings thru an open section of extrusion into fascia
or slab must have a head diameter of 3/4" or use a washer of 3/4" mini-
mum diameter.
8. All columns shall be fastened to beams or struts with fasteners other
than Interior screws.
9. In addition to beam bearing columns, clip angles are required on side
columns 5 18'0" 0.C. maximum.
10. 6063-76 aluminum alloy beams will bear extruded identification mark
stamped one foot from each end of beam. Following are approved marks:
80N 6063 76, 4-63 76, A163 -T6
II. Slab & footings by others unless otherwise noted
12. Latches on doors of swimming pool enclosures shall be 5'6" above
threshold 6 shall be self - latching d self - locking type.
13. Spans are in accordance with "design criteria 6 test requirements for
aluminum screen enclosures" as approved by the Dada County Bldg. A Zoning,
AprIl 5, 1965.
14. Aluminum straps are 6063 76 with Y.5.- 30.000 P.S.I. attached to beam with
f1OSMS 5 2' OC 2S- 16.000 P.S.I.
15. Wood inserts have a fiber stress of 1,200 P.S.I.
16. Steel strap has a fiber stress of 18,000 P.S.I.
17. Ribber electrical tape or asphalt dip to be used on steel inserts where
in contact with aluminum.

It is requested that a deviation of 22 feet be allowed from the
rear property line in order to erect a fiberglas and aluminum enclosure
on a existing concrete patio and pool. The south side of the existing
concrete patio is 2.57 feet from the property line. By allowing this
deviation the beauty of the area will be enhanced by erection of a
well built enclosure to replace a unsightly pine tree hedge and fense.
Due to the fact that the pool is not enclosed by screening it is very
difficult to maintain and creates a potential health problem. Also, it
is safer for children and pets to have a pool screened in as opposed to
being fenced in. It would be difficult to erect the enclosure under
the present Boning restrictions because the pool pump, strainer and
valves are located in a subsurface area starting approximately one
foot from the south edge of the concrete patio. Due to this, it would
be hard to gain access to this area for repairs and maintenance.
Therefore, your favorable consideration is requested to the attached
building permit.
Attached is consent of two adjoining property owners to the erection
of the enclosure. I have been unable to contact the third property owner.
Apparently he has been away from his residence for over a month.
