The construction is entirely pressure treated lumber fastened together with the appropriately sized tek screws. See attached drawing. The set back from the alley way is 8' from the centerline of the alley consistent with other properties in Miami Shores (listed in this document) built or modified in the past 4 years. The fence serves 2 purposes: 1. As my wife & I have been burglarized on more than 5 occasions (see attached), and all seem to have initiated from the alley, we are compelled to provide a more secure enclosure next to the alley. 2. We have developed a rich "edible landscape" on our lot and this location is a perfect spot for some additional climbing varieties.
