On September 1, 1955 at 9:15 A.M. I, Chief S.A. Senneff,
personally insn ected the rear building at Mr. J.T.'. Orchie's residence, 830 N.7.
91st Terrace. I found the buildin7 to consist of four apartments numbering 6, 7,
8, and 9.

ash tratr, Relatives and friends have stayed here as much as three and four da=is

Apartments number eight and nine, which Mr. Orchid start—
ed the controversy, are completely unfurnished and ere filled with storage article^
such as lumber, paint, and etc. The interior of mane apartments has neiTor been

Recently it has come to my attention that your_proper-
ties at 830 N.E. 91st Terrace, Miami Shores and 833 N.E. 90th
Street, Miami, are being offered for sale.
The properties, as posted by the M.L.S., The Keyes Com-
pany, Inc., Brokers, Scott F. Davis (Lic. *0485242), and Lee
Bennett (Lic *0012636), have been erroneously advertised.
Miami Shores Village records indicate that throughout
the approval process for Permit No. 3462, Issued In 1962,
statements were requested by the Village at the time, and
promises were made by you In writing, that said premises
covered by the Permit would not be used for rental purposes.
The current M.L.S. clearly Indicates that your agent Is
marketing the quarters, previously approved for your daugh-
ter and maid, as a rentable unit. This Is In violation of our
"single - family" occupancy restrictions.
This letter serves as a written Order to Comply. Within
seven (7) days, please correct the M.L.S. and no longer mar-
ket your property In the present fashion.
If this unit Is, in fact, an efficiency or apartment, it
must be returned to the original configuration, that was
approved In the Building Permit.
