I am writing to you in response to the attached letter. I would like to
explain what happened and resolve this matter.
I received a $300 check from the City of Miami Shores, not realizing it was
for the bond. I then received a call from Super Stamp Concrete requesting
the bond refund money from me. I complied, sending him a personal
check in the amount of $300. Therefore, all parties have been paid and
that should resolve the city's computer error.

My husband and I were recently interested in purchasing the above - mentioned property.
According to the MLS the house is 3340 SF and had new air conditioners and air ducts
installed, upgraded electrical, as well as a maids /inlaw quarters. Upon inspection of the
property by a certified inspector we were informed that the maids /inlaw quarters were not
up to code. Upon learning of this I went to the village and pulled the records of this
house. After reviewing the houses' records I learned that no permits were pulled for any
of these upgrades. This also meant that the house is actually 2940 SF because the inlaws
quarters are not air conditioned and not up to Miami Shores code. I was surprised to learn
this because this house was currently owned by a group of investors one of which is a
general contractor. I brought this to the attention of the investors and was dismissed. We
would greatly appreciate your department looking into this to avoid any future buyer
from experiencing what we did.
