MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS 2.1. The storm panels shall be constructed as indicated on approved drawing No. 94 -98.1, Sheet 1 of 2, using 20 ga. galvanized steel (0.035" thick), with Fy =40 ksi min., conforming to ASTM A446, structural quality grade C. 2.2 Panels (Part 1) are rolled formed, have a nominal width of 13.00" and a total width of 14.25 ", forming 1.87" deep ribs 2.3 Components shall be aluminum alloys 6063 -T6, (Part 2) "h" header, (Part 3) "u" header, (Part 4) 2" x 2" x .125 "EAB" studded angle, (Part 5) 5" x 2" x 1/8" angle. 2.4 Tested specimen: Dimensions: 37 1/4" wide x 101" long overall.
