Mayor Burch addressed the meeting, inquiring about the board's need for a permanent space and
what resources they would require for such a facility. There is strong advocacy for renovating the
9900 building to create a new space for various recreational activities to benefit the community.
Another key topic was the potential redevelopment of the golf course and country club, which is
a priority for the Historic Board. Mayor Burch also questioned the sources of funding necessary
to support the board's operations. In response, Chair Ms. Bonaduce explained that $7,500 is
allocated for plaques and markers, but the remaining activities are unfunded. The board had
requested $10,000, but this was not included in the current budget.
