CALL TO ORDER- By Ms. Bonaduce at 6:30pm 2. ROLL CALL Present: Ms. Spirk Ms. Bonaduce Ms. Ms. Headley Mr. Serrano Mr. Saadeh (Via Phone) Also, Present: Eddy Nunez- Interim Planning and Zoning Director (Corradino Group) Alizgreeth Tezen- Planner 1 3. MINUTES 3.A. Approval of Minutes July 17, 2024. July 17, 2024 Move to approve the Minutes by Ms. Spirk, Seconded by Mr. Serrano, 5-0. 4. DISCUSSION ITEM(S) 4.A. Unveiling Event for Plaques -525 NE 93rd ST. -565 Grand Concourse Ms. Tezen spoke on having the plaque and ready to proceed with the unveiling. Mr. Nunez stated that at the moment the option for the dates are still tentative and we will share what dates would work at a later time. 5. PUBLIC COMMENT- 2 MINUTE LIMIT 6. BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS 2 Mr. Saadeh asked staff about the reimbursement and what the update of the process. Mr. Saadeh asked about the $5000.00 grant received by the alliance and need to report it by December 1st, 2024. Mr. Saadeh proposed to use the funds to create a website. ideas by May of 2025. Mr. Saadeh asked is someone reviewing the guidelines of the Marker proposal by the board and ensure it is incorporated with the Village Attorney? Mr. Nunez stated he would look into it and ensure a follow up. Ms. Spirk asked about having procedures and the concern for a large amount of construction in the area. Having the applicant come to the historic preservation board for substantial improvement renovation concerns. Ms. Bonaduce stated that homes that are historically designated have been coming to the historic board but those that are not designated historic do not come to the board prior to demolition. Ms. Headley stated that the board should revisit the ordinance. Ms. Bonaduce stated that the planning and zoning board is presenting 1% of the centennial homes which will be presented tomorrow. Add to agenda next month to discuss about having homeowners come to the historic board to review demolition request for any homes that are 75 years or older. Full demolition request from the building department. A greed comprehensive list. The idea is to create a report of the 2025 year for the significant houses. 7. NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING- October 16, 2024 8. ADJOURNMENT –Motion to adjourn 8:10pm. The board may consider and act upon such other business as may come before it. In the event this agenda must be revised, such revised copies will be available to the public at Village Hall.
