Corrective Action: Pending the following comments.
(1) Plumbing approval required.
(2) Provide copy of original signed contract between owner and contractor and sub -contractors. In addition provide cost of all fixtures and
materials to be provided by the property owner.
The cost provided on the contract does not reflect the market cost of similar projects within our area and there by additional information is
required. Provide detail itemized cost estimate for the project to include all materials, labor overhead and profit, in addition provide the cost of all
materials to be provided by the property owner. Florida Building Code section 109.3
(5) Pool equipment should be elevated to meet flood elevation. Provide equipment pad elevation in NGVD. In addition, please correct pool
equipment locations on all plans.
According to the flood map the subject property is in a AE-9 flood zone. The minimum elevation required per miami Shores Village code of
ordinances is 11.00 NGVD, however, section 1612.4.2 allows the equipment to be below as long as it is elevated to the extent practical, is
anchored to prevent flotation and resist flood forces, and is supplied by branch circuits that have ground fault circuit -interrupter protection.
In addition the equipment location has not been properly reflected on all applicable sheets.
