Mr. Naranjo,
A NOVA Engineering and Environmental representative visited the subject site on June 26,2021 to
complete rough and final framing, insulation, and drywall inspections of the residential units affected
by the recently completed interior renovation scope approved under permit number C-11-18-3389.
Mr. Juan Ferriol, a licensed building inspector completed a visual assessment of the components in
question to assess compliance with the approved construction documents and the 2017 Edition of
Florida Building Code FBC. In addition, destructive testing was conducted to observe the interior
conditions of the new wall in Unit #10 to visually assess compliance with the approved documents
and the 2017 Edition of the FBC. In addition, Mr. Javier Jimenez, the signatory of this letter, visited
the site to confirm Mr. Ferriol's observations and assessment at the property.
To the best of my knowledge, it is my opinion that the items observed in the units affected by the
completed renovation scope met the intent of the construction documents and the requirements of
the 2017 Edition of the Florida Building Code. It was also observed that no new through -wall or
through -ceiling fire penetrations were completed or affected as part of the completed renovation
scope; nor were open wall penetrations were observed.
