In order to pass final inspection on the driveway permit, you need to submit revised site plan reflecting the existing concrete driveway on the west side of the property to the Health Department for approval. Please keep in mind, 2 sets of the sketch approved by the Health Department along with a permit application will be require for the revision. Once that was done we were told we would need to have two (2) copies of those plans stamped by MSV and then, finally, take the stamped copies to the Department of Health for approval and permitting. Once DOH stamped those plans we were instructed to return them to your department at Village Hall to request the closure of the permit. In order to accomplish this, you graciously agreed to a ninety (90) day extension of our existing permit. Thus far we have secured the plans from Mr. Bruce and last Friday I responded to Village Hall and Ms. Silvera stamped them. The remaining step is to take them to the Department of Health. Given the current situation with the COVID-19 that is both impracticable and unsafe. As such, and given that Governor Desantis has declared a "state of emergency", we are respectfully requesting that the time on our ninety (90) day extension be tolled until such time as the "state of emergency" has been lifted.
