B. UPDATE REGARDING THE REALTOR PRESENTATION (MSES).
The board briefly discussed the logistics of the presentation, which evolved into the idea of

and others. The tour/presentation was scheduled for the morning of April 15. Details pertaining to
the tour would be finalized during the March board meeting.

C. NEW BUSINESS
Ms. Lehroff raised the topic of Nexplore afterschool programming, providing an overview of the
program. Ms. Lehrhoff asked Village Clerk Rodriguez to place an item on the next agenda for
board consideration and discussion.
Separately, the Board discussed the possibility of including references to Miami Shores
Elementary School on the Village website. Clerk Rodriguez noted that she is open to adding the
information to the Boards and Committees subpage. However, she clarified that placing
references on the main homepage would require approval from the Village Manager.
D. UPDATES
The Board requested an update from Village Clerk Rodriguez regarding the attendance of
Boardmember Michelle Stone, who was appointed in October 2024. Clerk Rodriguez reported
that Ms. Stone has not made any contact with the Village, despite multiple attempts by the Clerk’s
Office to reach her via email and phone.
The Board discussed the challenges in maintaining quorum due to her absence and considered
declaring the seat vacant.
Following discussion, there was a consensus to declare the seat vacant and to direct the Village
Clerk to notify Ms. Stone accordingly. The Board also expressed that, should Ms. Stone wish to
reapply, her participation would be welcomed.
Ms. Rodriguez explained that the Council would be informed of the vacancy, and the next step
would be for the communications firm to promote the vacancy across all Village social media
platforms.
E. ADJOURNMENT
The board adjourned the meeting at 7:25 PM.
