ORDINANCE NO. 2025-
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MIAMI
SHORES VILLAGE, FLORIDA; AMENDING CHAPTER 9
"GARBAGE AND TRASH," ARTICLE Ill, SECTION 9-42
"SCHEDULE" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES
TO SET ASSESSMENT RATES BY RESOLUTION OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR
CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
14 WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2019-08 enacted by the Miami Shores
15 Village (the "Village") Council on July 16, 2019, the Village adopted a rate schedule for
16 solid waste collection and disposal services; and
17 WHEREAS, the Village has provided for the collection of such assessment under
18 the tax roll pursuant to Section 197 .3632, Florida Statutes (the "Uniform Method of
19 Collection Act"); and
20 WHEREAS, the Village would like to establish such rates pursuant to resolution of
21 the Council, as permitted by the Uniform Method of Collection Act.

23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
24 MIAMI SHORES VILLAGE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: 1

26 Section 1. Recitals Adopted. The above stated recitals are hereby adopted
27 and confirmed.
28 Section 2. Amendment to the Village Code. Chapter 9, "Garbage and Trash,"
29 Article 111., "Fees," Section 9-42, "Schedule," of the Village Code of Ordinances is hereby
30 amended as follows:
