1) CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Huber called the meeting to order.
Swearing in of the Witnesses the Village Attorney.
Will everyone that is going to testify tonight please raise your right hand and swear to tell the truth,
the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Summary Adjudication for first Hearings: Case(s) 03-23-96; 03-23-98; 03-23-93; 03-23-92; 03-
23-91; 03-23-89; 03-23-88; 03-23-86; 03-23-85; 03-23-125; 02-23-70; 04-23-138; 01-23-24;
001239-2022; 01-23-30; 02-23-62.
The officer, Mike Orta, testified that Affidavits of Non -Compliance and evidence of violation exists in
each of the files.
Motion: I move for summary adjudication of all such cases to include a finding of fact and
conclusion of law that a violation exists as charged in the respective notice of violations
issued therein and that, in each such case, the offending party shall correct the violation
within time period specified and immediately notify the Code Enforcement Officer when
the property is brought into compliance. In each such case, if the violation is not brought
into compliance within such time period, the Code Enforcement Officer may report this
fact back to the Board in accordance with the Board's Rules and Regulations at which time
a fine is hereby authorized to be automatically assessed against the violator. In the
respective daily amounts specified in staffs recommendations for tonight's hearing,
retroactive to the original compliance deadline. Further, with respect to each such case,
costs in the amounts specified in Staffs recommendations for tonight's hearings are hereby
assessed in order to recoup the Village's expenses in prosecuting the violations to
date."
Moved by Board Member Gromadzki, seconded by Board Member Perl.
Vote: Motion was approved 4-0.

4) PENALTY HEARING - ENFORCEMENT ORDERS
Summary Adjudication for Penalty Hearings: Case Ws: 02-23-65; 02-23-63; 02-23-67; 001143-
2022; 001145-2022; 001478-2022.
The officer, Mike Orta, testified that Affidavits of Non -Compliance and evidence of violation exists
in each of the files.
Motion: I move that, in each case currently remaining on the penalty docket for tonight's
hearing, each respective violator be ordered to pay the daily fine previously adjudicated
and authorized to be imposed against them by prior order of the Board, retroactive from
the day the violation was to have been corrected, that upon recording, the Board's Order in
this regard will constitute a lien on the property of the violator.
Moved by Board Member Buenconsejo, seconded by Board Member Perl.
Motion was approved 5-0.

5) REQUEST FOR RELIEF

Mr. Fadel (Spoke at the podium)
Stated that the reason for the lean request to relief because this is an investment property and it has to
sell and save on tax after living in it for two years. The mortgage was paid when at closing.
Mr. Perl asked Mr. Orta if he had anything to add and Mr. Orta stated that the home occupant was
compliant at the beginning of the violations and later in the house left out of shape. The violation
is no longer in place for the fence per the intention of currently fixing it. Does not have enough
tenure in the home to make the necessary changes. Ms. Cohen asked if the homeowner is
planning to demolish and stated no.
Motion to pay the agreed fine in 60 day 30,000, second to remove the entire lien.
