Strickland Guests: Drew McIntosh Meeting called to order at 4:03 pm R. Strickland — Handed out the new layout of the course that was sent by John Sanford — the difference in the layout reflects which trees would have to be removed T. Septembre — According to the tree removal code when a tree is removed it needs to be replaced with a new one B. Griffith — ® Please review the draft report and give recommendations 0 #7 tee would be on the east side of the canal and would be a par 4 i There is a contingency plan in place ® South Florida Water Management needs a pump house to straddle the dam on 107t" Street • The Recreation center wants the tennis courts S. Maroon — Should present the plan as is S. Soriero — Number 8 looks like it is very close to the train tracks B. Griffith — ® It's in the easement • #16 tee moved to the outside of the easement K. King — • The sand trap that is on the driving range, is it for aesthetics? • Should not spend money on that B. Griffith — ® 1 think so but we can confirm with John Sanford on that ® The greens are bigger than they are now K. King and S. Soriero Would like #18 to finishinfront-of-clubhouse -- --( B. Griffith — • Should flip the 9's • #1 would be in the same place 0 #18 would end in front of the clubhouse S. Soriero • • like this layoutbetter K. King — What about the tennis courts? B. Griffith — Hand them over to the recreation center S. Soriero — Does not feel like tennis is part of the club M. Mennes — Should leave tennis alone, the members would not want to play at the recreation center and vice versa D. McIntosh — Duplicity with the tennis courts, should have more conversation with parks and recreation T. Septembre — Losing part of the ballroom B. Griffith — • The part of the ballroom we lose would be the Pro —Shop • If the outside terrace is built, we may lose some of the view of the bar T. Septembre — Need shades on the west side K. King — Make the bar area on a curve S. Soriero — It would be nicer if the pro -shop had its own building B. Griffith — Next Friday at noon a zoom meeting is scheduled with Sanford / Ferris and REG and the N.G.F. D. McIntosh — Suggests we sit down and talk to REG M. Mennes — Discussion and walk through with R.E.G. B. Griffith — Have questions ready for the meeting • What are the options for the cart barn? • Can the outdoor deck curve to the North? • Can we extend the deck on the side? • What are the options for the terrace out back? • Where would the offices be located? • What is the remedy for the flooding in the current Pro -Shop and Men's Locker room?
