July 31St Meeting Minutes were approved.
Update:
B. Griffith —
® Village Manager asked to move forward with the design from the National Golf Foundation of
the golf course without S.F. water management
® The golf course architect should complete the design by November 15t
® We do not have any extra land to give South Florida Water Management
® N.G.F. will have the final report by November
S. Soriero — Can South Florida Water Management claim eminent domain and take the 4 acres needed
for the structure?
B. Griffith —
® That is for legal to decide

Mayor — The Council will have to rely on the Advisory Board for their expertise on the golf course design
K. King — I have to some people who are residents but not golfers who would like to get involved
Mayor— Once the plans are approved, we will start a committee for the Golf Course and Club House
plans, that maybe something they are interested in joining

A. Pozzi —
® September has been a nice month in terms of rounds and revenue
® Food and beverage has stayed busy through the slow months
® We are in the process of finalizing membership and we have had some cancellations, most are a
result of relocation or illness. Only 1 as dissatisfaction as a consequence of frustration with the
inability to secure early tee times on Saturday mornings
C. Baetzel —This weekend we will be teeing off from the front and back to maximize the number of early
tee times available for members
A. Pozzi —
® John Bachay, a local historian would like to make a presentation to the Advisory Board next
month about the installation of a historical designation sign
• We are asking for support for the Doo Wop night on November 2
New Business:
B. Griffith —The P.C.M. Cup has been rescheduled due to weather
C. Baetzel —The new date for the P.C.M. Cup has been moved to October 28th

® The areas on the golf course that have been replanted are struggling
o On October 25 the MGA will be having dinner to support the Heidi Hewes foundation
C. Baetzel —The front of 3 is struggling
A. Pozzi —Yes there are areas that are struggling, the ground is very saturated
M. Mennes—The water by the entrance to the tennis courts does not drain

® On 7th Ave. by the 14th hole look at the shrubbery with limbs falling
® The no trespassing signs on 107th and 108th have disappeared

S. Soriero — Will be here Saturday for the St. Rose of Lima event
