MSES UPDATE PROVIDED BY ADMINISTRATION
Mr. Diaz was not present to deliver his update. However, Village Clerk Rodriguez his statement into the record, noting the following updates:
Registration continues to increase. As of yesterday, MSES is at about 610 students. We’re continuing to positively promote MSES as best as we can.
Our first Cambridge night is slated for early November. Ms. Nguyen is working on booking activities for our students.
In July, it was confirmed that MSES is an A rated school! We’re working on maintaining the A rating two years in a row, something that has not occurred in about 13 years. (Wish I had
the data with me do include).
We saw an increase of enrollment of students from Mater (various campuses, not just Mater at Biscayne), iPrep, and various Montessori schools. Ms. Miller and I recognize parents that
attended our tours.
During our faculty meeting yesterday, the Proclamation MSES was discussed and celebrated with our staff. They're thrilled to be recognized by the Village of Miami Shores.
PTA is doing a great job in getting parents involved and finding ways to fundraise for the school. Our back to school dance was a huge success! We're partnering with the owners of Chick-Fil-A.

Brief discussion ensued regarding the presentation, noting Mr. Robert Bourne’s comments regarding the viability of attracting high net worth residents to MSES by way of the presentation.
