Brian,
Pedro visited the site twice to address the existing Mezzanine structure. While he was on site I asked him a question
relating to the ftg size of the non‐bearing masonry walls which he answered this morning but did not answer the
Mezzanine issue.

Pedro,
What happened to the primary RFI pertaining to the Mezzanine demolition?
I don’t see anything relating to what to do with the existing columns that are supporting the Conventional Concrete Roof
System.
Thew Demolition Crew has left the site until they have answers.
Please consult with Brian Smedley ASAP and respond accordingly.

Afternoon sir. The TS16 is Cont. x 12” High x 18” wide. We had both details because at certain areas where they were
taking out the floor slab and re‐pouring, the top detail would apply. See the snip below with the white section I
added. Where the 3/S4.2 is cut in the snip, I would anticipate the bottom detail to apply.
I concur about the filling in of the pit. He should just send an RFI asking how to deal with it.

Will do. Thanks.
BTW see snip below.. Jim was asking for the reinf. for the TS16 ‐not shown on sch. Also see detail 3/S4.2‐see snip‐ I
assume is the one on the bottom? Despite it says TS16 on plan?.. The one on top seems to be for another TS?.. and also
he wants to widen the areas where they removed the CMU to place the new s.o.g. I told him it was OK the reason it is
because is easier to dowel in.
The attached pictures show an existing trench that I told him he will need to fill with dirt, compacted and then use detail
7/S4.2. He still wants a detail for it.
