Historic Landmarks Plaque- Redesign https://cloud.msvfl.gov/s/eLPDoBqJ5dee9we 2 4.B Ms. Hasbun stated that the board had approved the design of the plaque as presented to the board, however the material is not what was expected and stated that the detail of the logo is too small to make it bronze. The designer suggested to amend the previous design and reorient the logo vertically or redesign the logo and that way we can maintain the alignment of the logo. The Shoreland had a seahorse logo design and asked can we use that type of materiality, asked by Ms. Bonaduce. Mr. Bramson asked about the cost, and Ms. Hasbun stated the base cost is $500 plus an additional $200 to have it 10 x 15 on the homes. Ms. Bonaduce is opposed on having the plaque vertically and maintain it horizontally. Also, the suggestion was to change the logo. Mr. Bachay stated that this logo should reflect the miami shore village instead of shoreland. Motion to approve redesign to change the orientation as proposed by Mr. Saaheh, seconded by Mr. Bramson. 4-0. Council Presentation 2022-2023 report Ms. Hasbun stated that the best time to start presenting to council would be beneficial to draft a report and show information that is applicable to the Historic Preservation Board. Ms. Bonaduce asked Ms. Hasbun to include any events to the report. Also, she asked if there was any budgetary help that the Village can participate for centennial homes, and include it to the board council presentation. Mr. Saadeh asked is there a way that the Village can fund for the 100th anniversary for the celebration of the Shoreland homes, and make it part of a gala that would be a community event. Motion by Mr. Saadeh to request time slots and prepare for the council presentation seconded by Ms. Bonaduce. 4-0. July 18th for the council meeting, Ms. Hasbun stated the preliminary meeting would have to be sometime on July 11th or before to prepare. They agreed meeting would be July 6th, 2023 special meeting starting at 6:00pm and July 19th, 2023 regular meeting. 5. BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS Mr. Bachay thanked the board for the two events for celebrating the unveiling and the team effort involved to put everything together. 6.ADJOURNMENT – 6:54pm. By Mr. Saadeh, seconded by Ms. Bonaduce. 4-0. The board may consider and act upon such other business as may come before it.
