Pozzi Meeting called to order at 5:33 pm January 31St Meeting Minutes were approved. WROTAW • We have seen significant improvements in golf course conditions; the warmer, drier and sunnier days have helped tremendously • There is a mite infestation on the fairways which affects primarily common Bermuda. It was treated twice and although it is under control it caused considerable damage on some fairways • We are planning to resod the fairways where needed and weak areas surrounding greens starting in mid -march • Insurance settled the flood claim. Initially the adjustor considered the locker room and pro shop to be a basement, therefore not covered by the policy. After a survey was done we were able to prove the outside surrounding area is lower than the locker room and pro shop and thus they cannot be considered a basement. • We received a settlement offer of $130,000 after the deductible and depreciation. We are out of pocket of $15,000 to $17,000 for drying and cleaning cost of damaged equipment. We expect the carpet replacement to cost an additional $20,000. We recommended to the city manager that Miami Shores Village keep the balance of the settlement for future repairs • February has been an excellent month, we are ahead in rounds and revenue, we have had the highest amount of rack rates ever • Tournament business has been solid B. Griffith — Happy to report that we are moving forward with the clubhouse and golf course renovation, unanimous vote from the Village Council The Village Manager got in touch with the National Golf Foundation, and they will guide the Village on what the steps are to accomplish a successful renovation The NGF will provide the village on the scope of work they recommend be done and will provide estimate of the cost S.
