Advisory Board Meeting
Wednesday, January 31, 2024
Present: B. Griffith, T. Septembre, S. Maroon, M. Mennes, S. Soriero, M. Wilcoxen,
C. Baetzel, R. Strickland, P. Arutyunov, and A. Pozzi
Meeting called to order at 5:35 pm
November 29t" Meeting Minutes were approved.
A. Pozzi —
• 2023 finished off as the highest grossing year ever
• January, so far has been a record month on the golf side, banquet business is slow as usual for
this month
• We trust that everyone received the email explaining golf course conditions. We are making
every effort to improve conditions, aerifying, fertilizing, restricting golf cart traffic, etc.,
ultimately we depend on weather
• We attempted to stand up the fallen trees on #14 and #18, and we were not able to., will have
to remove them
• Going forward #14 fairway will be out of bounds from #15 tee, we will install signage on #15 tee
• After a long search we finally hired an assistant superintendent with excellent experience
New Business:
S. Maroon —
• The Men's Golf Association postponed the member -guest tournament to April
• It seems like the pins are not being properly rotated on the greens
A. Pozzi — Will talk to the superintendent about the pin rotation
B. Griffith — What is happening with the buckets on the golf carts
A. Pozzi — E-Z Go is going to send us a waiver so we are able to put the buckets on the carts ourselves
B. Griffith —
• Should have someone to refill the sand buckets mid round
• How often does the message come on the carts to fill the divots?

C. Baetzel —
• Yes, we will see what the best solution is
• Three times, some players complain about the beep on the carts about the divot message
B. Griffith —The MGA would like to do something like a TAGWOL style, maybe do a Thursday, can the
bar and kitchen stay open later?
C. Baetzel —That would be easy to do please let us know when you would like to start
P. Arutyunov—Yes on both
S. Maroon —Should rope of#12 for ground under repair
M. Wilcoxen — Chris is helping me to organize the ladies club championship
C. Baetzel —We will send out a 1-2-1 email blast to help get the word out about the tournament
T. Septembre —
• New personnel are fabulous
• Kitchen is good
• North end of the cart barn is trashy
C. Baetzel —Will clean up the area
S. Soriero — No comments
M. Mennes — Thank you Mr. Soriero for the equipment to help dry the pro -shop quickly
• Thank you, Mr. Soriero, for your help
• We had to hire a surveyor so that we can establish the elevation of the pro -shop and men's
locker room to determine insurance coverage
M. Mennes — Impressed by how quickly you can put together a celebration of life
A. Pozzi — Unfortunately, we do a lot of these celebrations, and we try to make them as easy as possible
for the families

C. Baetzel —
• The member - member tournament was very well received; Mr. Rajo and Mr. Griffith won the
event
• Will send an email blast out to all golf members with the date change of the Men's Club
Championship and Member Guest tournament
• Golf has been very good
• As you probably noticed we have some new faces in the pro -shop and outside staff
P. Arutyunov —
• December banquet business was excellent
• The New Years Eve party was very well received
• January banquet business is slow, the restaurant is busy
• We now have beverage cart service 7 days a week
• We are going to do a pop—up taco and tequila night on February 29
C. Baetzel — We are hosting a Junior Hurricane Tour tournament on February 10 and 11th
R. Strickland —
• Seth Strickland won the GCSAA National Championship for the 6t" time, tied for the most wins
since the 1940's
• The next meeting is scheduled for February 28tn
