Meeting called to order at 5:33 pm
September Meeting Minutes were approved.
• As some of you know we have a new superintendent. David Rusho gave his resignation, he
accepted a job at Doral
• We promoted Josue Paz to Superintendent; he was Seth Strickland's assistant at Miami Shores
and Miami Beach
B. Griffith — We are seeing changes on the golf course already.
M. Mennes — Yes, even in cutting the grass.
A. Pozzi —
• In David's defense, most of the new equipment package has arrived which is very helpful
• Josue has a different approach, he focuses more on the detail.
• The missing sand buckets have come in and will be installed as soon as possible.
• October business was excellent.
• Installation of the new carpet will begin on Sunday and hopefully be completed by Thursday.
B. Griffith — Will present a report about the capital needs of the Country Club to Miami Shore Village on
Behalf of the Advisory Board

New Business:
B. Griffith — Glad to hear about the new sand buckets for the golf carts have arrived.
S. Maroon —The grass clippings are sometimes dropped too close to playing ground.
A. Pozzi — Will talk to the maintenance crew.
M. Mennes — Are there less iguanas?
A. Pozzi — Possibly. Might be a result of the coyotes at work.
C. Baetzel — One of the coyotes died.
T. Septembre —
• There is a tree growing on the roof again in the same spot as last time.
• When are you going to clean the bar windows?
• Will remove the tree.
• They were cleaned last week, will schedule another cleaning.
P. Arutyunov — All exterior windows are cleaned every 2 weeks, interiors are done daily as needed.
T. Septembre —
• You have a great staff.
• Sometimes the kitchen is a little slow.
• Are you planning on bringing the hamburger nights back?
A. Pozzi — Thank you. Not at this time as we are still ramping up staffing.
M. Mennes — Compliments to you, the St. Rose event was fantastic.
B. Griffith —The service was fantastic at the St. Rose event.
C. Baetzel —
• The Halloween tournament was a fun event.
• November match play had a few upsets.
• The Classic is almost sold out.

• The banquet business is back to pre -pandemic levels.
• We are booking a lot of golf tournaments.
• Please make your Thanksgiving reservations now
B. Griffith — Any plans on bringing back the Sunday brunch?
A. Pozzi —The brunch is very labor intensive and requires a lot of staff and we are not in the position to
do it at this time
R. Strickland — Next meeting is scheduled for November 29th.
