Pozzi Meeting called to order at 5:35 pm July Meeting Minutes were approved A. Pozzi —Welcome to new members and introductions T. September — The Club's Advisory Board needs to elect a chair and a secretary (refer to code, attached) B. Griffith —Volunteered to be the Board Chair M. Puglisi —Volunteered to be Board Secretary Appointments voted on and approved unanimously T. Septembre — ® The Village has not put any money into the Club. The Club will pay almost $400,000 in rent this year. The Village Council has to understand that the Village has not made any capital investments in the Club • We request Club management prepare a list of capital needs with estimated costs A. Pozzi — Please give us some time and we will prepare preliminary information and will make our best effort to provide cost estimates where possible. For context it should be noted that the Country Club opened for business in December of 1939. Since that time, several additions and partial renovations have been made to the clubhouse building, the golf course was reconfigured and rerouted several times but neither has seen a complete renovation S. Soriero — Has there been a 40-year certification of the building? A. Pozzi — Yes, approximately 13 years ago, and a 10 year certification about 2 years ago T. Pozzi — • September business was typical for this time of the year with this month being the slowest of the year • We are fortunate that there has not been any significant storms and weather has been benign • We are still waiting for the golf course equipment package to be delivered. All of it is in production but we do not have a delivery date confirmation. Original delivery was scheduled for late July S. Maroon — • Are the sand buckets delayed? • Can we have gas carts? A. Pozzi — • Yes, the buckets are delayed but we are told that they will be delivered by the end of October • Gas carts are less reliable than electric, require more maintenance, are dirtier and nosier. They are not a desirable option for golf course use except for those courses built on very hilly terrain B. Griffith —Are you going to bring back the Thursday night dinners? A. Pozzi — Not planning to do it at this time T. Septembre — Miss hamburger night A. Pozzi — • Still not fully staffed • Lost one key person in the kitchen, we are continuously adding and training staff B. Griffith — • The P.C.M. Cup was a very nice event • The greens were in great condition • The trophy was very nice C. Baetzel —The visitors were impressed by our golf course T. Septembre — • The service is wonderful • Please turn down the music volume on Fridays, it is very loud and you cannot hear people at your table S. Maroon — • There is still no hot water in the men's sink • Can the driving range lights be on in the mornings? • The Classic will take place December 8th through December 10th A. Pozzi — • The sink does have hot water it just takes a bit of time to get there • Yes, the driving range lights can be on, Chris will make it part of the opening procedures M. Puglisi — Has not played C. Baetzel — • The first double tee is next weekend • The Halloween tournament is scheduled for October 29th P. Arutyunov— • The September lounge business is ok • There is a lot of banquet business being booked • Elitsa Stoyanova is the new catering manager and she is a nice addition to the staff R.
