Advisory Board Meeting

Present: M. Puglisi, B. Griffith, R. Burnette, C. Baetzel, R. Strickland, P. Arutyunov, and A. Pozzi

Meeting called to order at 5:32 pm
June 7th Meeting Minutes were approved.
A. Pozzi —
• The new cart fleet was scheduled for delivery for the week of June 25th. It is now scheduled for
July 5" or 6th
• The carts are built and are being wired for the GPS
B. Griffith — When are the old carts going back?
A. Pozzi —
• When they deliver the new golf cart fleet they will take the old fleet with them
• We will have to test the geofencing and there will be a learning curve for both the professional
staff and the golfers
B. Griffith — Is there a warning on the carts if they go in a place they are not supposed to?
C. Baetzel —
• There will be a 10-yard warning
• While looking at the screen you can see the fence
B. Griffith —Can you reverse out?
C. Baetzel — Yes, the only way to get out of the forbidden spots is to reverse out
A. Pozzi —
• We will start the tree work the first week of July
• We had a very difficult time finding a company that can provide both workers compensation and
general liability insurance
B. Griffith — Are you going to replace the tree on #3
A. Pozzi — We may replace them with royals
New Business:
A. Pozzi —June has been exceptionally busy
B. Griffith —The greens are starting to come back, you can see some new growth
A. Pozzi —
• According to David in about 4 weeks they will be back
• Have to spray the perimeter
C. Baetzel —July 10th and 11th we will be aerifying the greens
B. Griffith —
• Played on Saturday morning and had an early morning tee time
• Checked in at 6:20 am and there were 12 people standing in line
• How was the US Open golf tournament?
• Are you planning on bringing the Sunday brunch back?
• Are we still on mats?
C. Baetzel —
• Then the pro shop openers were late, will check time cards
• We had close to 50 players for the US Open
• The British Tournament is scheduled for July 23, there are already 20 teams signed up
• On Monday through Thursday we are on mats so the grass can recover
A. Pozzi — Our culinary staff is not where we need them to be to bring the brunch back
T. Septembre —
• The personnel in the dining room are fantastic
• On 6th Avenue and 101 street the coral rock wall is collapsing
• Is the work on the R/R trestle completed?
• Can anything be done about the coyotes?
A. Pozzi —
• The trestle work is completed, the work was a bigger challenge than anticipated. The contractor
was fantastic
• We contacted the Wildlife Commission and they indicated that they will not remove the coyotes
S. Maroon —Can the keys be in the golf carts in the early morning to go to the back range?
A. Pozzi — No. The only way for the starter to keep control of the tee is by issuing the carts and keys in
the appropriate order
R. Burnette — Need to work on the grass around the chipping area

A. Pozzi — It's weak from all the traffic, with significant evidence of wear and tear. We will look at it and
may close the tee for a few days
R. Burnette — Need a bell or scope on the white tees on #18
C. Baetzel — The GPS will alert players on the 18th tee if there is anyone in the blind spots in the fairway
and when the area is clear
R. Burnette — Bought the domain for M.S.M.G.A. and will get the site up soon
M. Puglisi — Can we get different flavors of Gatorade?
P. Arutyunov—
• Will get a different variety pack of Gatorades
• The Pepsi contract is up and asked Pepsi for a new contract and never received it
• Had a meeting with Coca-Cola and sent 3 emails for the contract and never received it
C. Baetzel —
• Spoke to the clubs about the PCM cup, the tentative date is September 21, Thursday afternoon
• The plaques have been updated
A. Pozzi — Will have a permanent trophy for the PCM Cup
R. Strickland — next meeting is scheduled for July 26
