Meeting called to order at 5:33 pm
March Meeting Minutes were approved.
A. Pozzi —
• The fence on #7 has been repaired and more no trespassing signs have been installed
• You probably have seen some brown spots on 4 greens, the result of a hydraulic leak. We
expect it will take a few weeks to recover
• The month of April feels like September, we have had 10 % inches of rain so far
• On the food and beverage side, it has been very busy in the dining room and in banquets
New Business:
A. Pozzi for M. Puglisi — A foursome next to him had a dog that was barking the entire round, why are
dogs allowed?
P. Arutyunov —
• Disclaimer: I have no legal training
• If the dog is a service dog, we have to comply and allow the dog on the premises
R. Burnette —
• The animal should have a service vest on
• Find out what the Village of Miami Shores does
T. Septembre —
• You are allowed to ask for a letter that specifies they have a condition from a doctor
• You are allowed to ask for the vaccination records for the animal
S. Maroon —
• Great weekend playing in the Club Championship
• The Calcutta tournament is scheduled for May 27, signup in the Pro -Shop

B. Griffith —
• On Saturday and Sunday we warmed up on dirt, the driving range needs attention
• The Club Championship was a fantastic event
• The course is in excellent condition
A. Pozzi — We will be closing the Driving Range on Monday for a heavy top dressing and to allow time for
the turf to recover from the heavy usage
S. Maroon — The pin placements for the Club Championship were very different
C. Baetzel — David picked the pin placements himself to offer new looks and the best possible areas on
the green
B. Griffith -
• Where are we on the P.C.M. contract?
• When are the new golf carts coming?
A. Pozzi —
• P.C.M. just exercised its option for the next fiscal year, which leaves one more year option on
the current agreement
• The new fleet is scheduled to be delivered in June
• PACE, the GPS provider reached out to us to start mapping out the course
B. Griffith —
• The 9-hole tournament was a fantastic event, are you planning another one?
• How is the planning going for the P.C.M. cup?
C. Baetzel —
• We may plan another 9-hole tournament for November when the weather is better
• Regarding the P.C.M. cup, we are planning for September and Miami Shores, Pembroke and
Miami Beach will participate
T. Septembre —The coral rock wall on 1001" street is starting to break down
A. Pozzi — We will schedule the necessary repairs
T. Halloran —
• Has been away
• What is the deal with membership?
• The current membership year ends on September 30
• In the middle of August, we will start to send the membership billing

• When are you starting to dig out under the Railroad Trestle?
• When are you planning on removing the tree on #16?
• The course is looking good
• Some areas on the cart path needs work
A. Pozzi —
• We will begin the R/R trestle work on May 30
• We are getting quotes between $10,000 and $11,000 to have the tree removed
M. Wilcoxen — No comments
C. Baetzel —
• The Club Championship flight winners were Mark Gallo, Russell Klein and Jerry Suied
• Rocco Marando won for the second year in a row
• Getting ready for the Calcutta tournament
• U.S. Open Father's Day tournament will include the Father's Day Buffet
P. Arutyunov—
• Business is busy
• Easter was very good
• Mother's Day is almost sold out, please make your reservations now
• Friday music has been well received

Meeting called to order at 5:39 pm
April Meeting Minutes were approved.
A. Pozzi —
• We had a severe thunderstorm on Tuesday resulting in a lot of debris and tree damage. We
think that we may have had a mini tornado
• We have 8 large trees down. We are in the process of getting quotes to remove the fallen trees
• The golf course maintenance crew did a great job clearing the course so we can open at noon
today
• The R/R trestle work went smoothly
• . As is always the case with greens of this age, we are starting to observe contamination on the
greens
• This year we had the busiest May we have ever had
B. Griffith — Is that why you see different colors of the grass?
• Yes. We have started an aggressive program to eradicate the contaminated turf
• The greens conditions for the next several weeks will be less than ideal
• Please bear with us while we repair the damage we are causing by removing the contaminated
turf
• Although disruptive, this program will ensure the long term health and playability of the greens
M. Puglisi — Should email the members to let them know what is going on with the conditions of the
greens
A. Pozzi —We shall

• Have not played in a few weeks
• The fairways are in great condition
• How many carts will be in the new fleet and when are they coming?

A. Pozzi —There will be 75 carts and they are set to arrive the week of June 25
B. Griffith - The driving range tee is still weak
A. Pozzi —The driving range tee has not yet recovered from the wear and tear of the winter season. We
will continue to use the artificial turf Monday through Thursday and will use grass Friday
through Sunday to allow the tee to fully recover
R. Burnette —
• It is good to put restrictions on the driving range
• Will there be a handicap flag with the new carts?
• Some of the golf course maintenance people do not know proper golf etiquette
A. Pozzi —
• Will have a meeting with the crew to discuss etiquette
• There will not be handicap flags with the new carts
• Geofencing will be programmed differently for persons with disabilities
B. Griffith — How was Mother's Day?
A. Pozzi — It was very successful and well attended
P. Arutyunov— We have 10 days straight with banquet events
S. Maroon —
• We had 36 players for the Calcutta and it was a great event
• Thank you to Chris for your help
C. Baetzel — We have 22 teams signed up for the Father's Day Open Tournament
R. Strickland —
• Make your reservations for Father's Day
• We are planning on doing July 41" with a barbeque buffet and the fireworks are set to go off at
9pm
• Next Meeting is scheduled for June 28
