Advisory Board Meeting

Present: B. Griffith, R. Burnette, M. Puglisi, P. Rajo, T. Septembre, C. Baetzel, R. Strickland,

Meeting called to order at 5:34 pm
February Meeting Minutes were approved.
A. Pozzi —
• March was the busiest month on record in terms of rounds played
• The driving range has been very busy
• The weather has been favorable — it did rain last night
• International Links closed permanently on March 191"
• Miami Springs Country Club will close for approximately 6 months for renovation next week
• Membership is in very high demand — as of now we have 19 people on the waiting list that all
put a $1000 deposit down
• Food and Beverage banquet business has come roaring back
C. Baetzel —This Saturday we go back to using a single tee start
New Business:
B. Griffith —
• The driving range is pretty beat up
• Still having shade issues on 5, 13, 14 and 6 tee
• Buckets have been full of sand
• How are Easter reservations coming
A. Pozzi —
• Later in the Spring we will shut down the driving range grass tees for a couple of weeks for
maintenance
• We still have a lot of work to do with the trees on the course
P. Arutyunov — The reservations are coming in strong for Easter and we are going to close certain
time slots
B. Griffith —The member - guest tournament was a great event

• There is a root growing on the fairway side of hole #7
• We had 30 teams for the member — guest tournament, it was a great turn out
• The light bites on Friday for the tournament were very nice
• Saturday BBQ was well received
• We gave out $5,000 in prizes
• The driving range lights have not been on in the morning
• There are a lot of divots on the course
C. Baetzel —
• 1 have been told the range lights are being turned on, will check with staff
• After the boys Barry tournament we have scheduled staff to fill the divots
• With the lack of rain and the wind the sand in the divots gets blown off
P. Rajo —
• Thank you for the help with the member guest tournament, there was a lot of value for the
guest
• The outside staff is fantastic
T. Septembre —
• There are finally lights on the street in front of the Club
• Food and beverage have been phenomenal, the specials have been fantastic
• The food is getting better and better
• The tree on the roof is still there
• What about the bush outside?
• The fence on 107 (along #7) is bent over and the poles are not attached to the fence anymore
• Need more no trespassing signs
A. Pozzi —
• The bush is showing signs of life, so we will wait to remove it
• We will order more no trespassing signs
R. Burnette —
• Thank you for the stop sign on #12 and the stakes behind the greens
• Have you thought about moving the starter booth to #1 on Saturday and Sunday?
C. Baetzel —
• The starter booth needs to be where it is especially when we do the double tee
• Going forward we have to control how the keys are given out and not just put them in the carts

A. Pozzi — I do not like that we put the keys in the carts, we will address this internally with the
management staff
C. Baetzel — Out of bounds, we put 50 stakes out on the putting, chipping and driving range
A. Pozzi — Will put a sign on the 15t tee about the out of bounds areas
P. Rajo — Should send an email out to the members
R. Burnette — On # 1 you should pick up the yellow balls in the morning
A. Pozzi —We have to do a betterjob picking the range balls on #1
M. Puglisi —
• The course looks great
• What happened on the back of #4?
A. Pozzi —
• Had a problem before David started, he resodded it and it is a problem again. It has been
resodded a second time
• Given the small size of our greens the greens mowers have no room to turn and the operators
are forced to make sharp turns which rip up the sod
• The new golf cart fleet is scheduled to arrive in June
A. Pozzi — May 30 (the Tuesday after Memorial Day) we will shut down the course for the whole day to
aerify and we will start the work on the R/R trestle and remove 8 inches and add more rock
and then pave it
B. Griffith — Right of 15 are you going to leave it as rough?
C. Baetzel —
• Yes, we will
• We are doing the Nine and Dine on April 141h with a BBQ and DJ on the driving range
• As of now we have 15 teams signed up
• The event is scheduled from 5 to 7pm and we will play the front 9
• April 22 and 23rd is the club championship
