Advisory Board Meeting Minutes -July 29 2020 Virtual Advisory Board Meeting Wednesday, July 29, 2020 Present (on the phone): M. Mennes, T. Septembre, N. Powell, M. Gallo, S. Maroon, P. Rajo, S. Maroon, C. Baetzel, P. Arutyunov, R. Strickland and A. Pozzi Meeting held via phone conference A. Pozzi - • Miami Shores City Council voted unanimously to approve us to continue running the Country Club • This new contract is for 1 year and 4 – 1 year options at PCM’s choice • No rent for year 1 and year 2 then a base rent and percent after 2 years • • Given how high the water table and canal are the golf course is draining very slowly T. Septembre – Should report this to the Village council M. Mennes – How is the back nine? A. Pozzi – • Hole #11 still had a lake in the middle of the fairway • Hole #17, the cart path is still unpassable • Hole #18 has standing water on the fairway • We went from severe drought to flooding in 2 weeks T. Septembre – How are you advertising your takeout service? A. Pozzi – We have been sending email blasts to the 15000 addresses that we have in our database. We also posted the specials on our Facebook page and our Instagram feed M. Mennes – Have not received any email about the restaurant specials A. Pozzi – Will check into that B. Griffith – thank you for letting me participate in the meeting P. Rajo – When will the restaurant open? A. Pozzi - • We are reviewing the reopening rules issued by Miami Dade County and reformulating operating procedures and retraining staff to ensure we are compliant and can provide our guests and staff with a safe environment as well as enjoyable experience • The bar cannot open as of yet • Tables must be 6 feet apart and we are only able to seat 4 people at a table and 6 if all people are from the same household • Manager on duty takes the temperature of every employee before the shift starts The meeting adjourned at 6:48 pm The next meeting is scheduled for September 30, 2020
