Therefore, this report represents the TAS 106 results at the time of the test.
All tested locations were done using an Imada Force Gauge instrument with a minimum uplift load of
35lbs (for mortar or adhesive set tiles) and If applicable, for mechanically attached tiles a minimum static
test uplift load of 80% of the Resistance Moment (Mr') or 80% of the Resistance Load (f) as listed in
Product Approval (NOA) was applied.

Dear Building Official:
This letter is to advise Building Department that we have performed an inspection and
reviewed the photographs taken by the roofing contractor during the base sheet, TU Max
and drip edge installation for the slope roof section of the above referenced property.
Specifically, we reviewed the roofing work of the deck re -nailing with 4" o.c. at the
perimeter of the plywood sheet and 6" o.c. in the field of the plywood into the wood
members 75# base sheet installed with 1 '/4 r.s. nails and tin caps in 2 rows at 12" o.c. in
the middle of the sheet and one row at 6" o.c. at lap. The TU Max membrane was'
uniformly self adhered to the base sheet and back nailed at 4" lap maximum 12" o.c.. The
drip edge was found to be 3"x 3" gals. metal sheet primed and fastened to deck with nails
1 1/4" r.s. nails 4" o.c.
Based on our site visit and field inspection, we can certify that the referenced work has
been performed in conformance with the Permit and 2020 FBC 7th edition.
Please note we are considering this letter an after the fact inspection to cover for
inspections normally performed by the building officials during roof construction. This
inspection does not cover roof drainage and does not provide a guarantee against roof
leaks since these are still responsibilities of the contractor.

site inspection and reviewed the pictures taken by the roofing contractor during the roof
tile installation for the above referenced property.
The roof tile inspection revealed the following:
The roof tile has a pitch 4/12 according with the permit.
The type of tile used was Boral Estate Spanish Tile with NOA # 21-0323.05
The ICP PolyFoam Tile Adhesive with NOA # 20-1124.07 was installed' as one medium
paddy with approximate dimensions 2"/7". The tile head lap was found to be a minimum
of 3 inches.
Based on the above field observations, I can certify that the referenced work was
performed in conformance with NOA # 21-0323.05 and the Permit.
Please note that we consider this letter as being an after the fact inspection to cover
inspections normally performed by building officials during roof construction. This

and reviewed the photographs taken by the roofing contractor during the flat roof system
installation.
Based on our roof inspection, we found the following:
The deck was re -nailed 6" o.c. in the center of the 5/8" plywood sheet and 4" o.c.
in the perimeter of the plywood sheet into the wood members.
The 75# base sheet was fastened as follows:
The 1' zone fastened with 11/4 r.s. nails 9" o.c. at lap with 2 rows at 9" o.c. in the
center of the sheet. The field area was fastened 7" o.c. at lap with 2 rows at 7" o.c.
in the center of the sheet. The perimeter was fastened with 1 1/4" r.s. nails and tin
caps 5" o.c. at the lap with 2 rows in the center of the sheet at 5" o.c. The corners
were fastened 5" o.c. at lap and 3 rows at 5" o.c. in the center of the sheet. Two
ply IV of fiberglass were hot mopped over the base sheet and the last layer of
GAF Mineral surfaced cap sheet was uniformly hot moped over the roof system.
The drip edge was found to be 3"x 3" galy. sheet metal primed and fastened to the
deck with 1 1/4" r.s. nails 4" o.c.
Based on our inspection and reviewed the roofing work, we can certify that the
referenced work has been performed in conformance with the Permit and 2020 FBC 7th
