Dear Sirs:
i hereby attest that, the structure is structurally sound and the Interior Renovation and
Remodeling satisfies the requirements of the Code in effect (FBC 2020). My statement is
based on the inspection:
DRYWALL: All new 1/2" drywall was installed with 1-1/4" screws @ 16" O.C. in
wall and @ 12" in ceiling.
BLOCKING UP DOORS AND WINDOWS: All blocking up doors and windows are
comply with: Wall ties was provided at both sides connected to existing wall at every
other course. (3/16" or 1/4" tapcon min. embedment 1-1/4") .See details in page A-3.
Minimum No.9 gauge ladder -type hot -dipped galvanized horizontal join reinforcing at
every other course that coincide with the wall tie was provided. (See detail in page A-3).
Concrete block units are type II -NON -MOISTURE controlled, conforming to ASTM
C90, with S minimum net area compressive strength of 1900 PSI, ( ave of three), prism
strength of CMU Wall F'M= 1500 PSI.
FLOORING: All ceramic tile flooring was installed above existing terrazzo flooring
with VersaBond LFT.
The structure also complies with all requirements of the current Florida Building Code
2020, and ASCE 7-10 with the permit application and any approved plans by the
Building Official, if applicable.
