I have inspected the above referenced project and my comments are as follows:
1) A visual observation made during the pool excavation revealed silty sand, with no obvious
deleterious materials present.
2) Based on this observation, I have ascertained, to the best of my knowledge, information and
belief, that the soil beneath the pool structure will provide a minimum of 2,000 PSF load bearing
capacity in accordance with FBC 6th Edition Table R401.4.1 and meets project requirements.
This statement should not be construed as a guarantee of long-term stability or the absence of excessive
settlements due to compressible layers.
