1) CALL TO ORDER
The Meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by Chairman Busta.
SWEARING IN OF WITNESSES by Richard Sarafan, Village Attorney.

Motion to approve the Minutes of October 21, 2021 and October 28, 2021 by Mr. Brady,
seconded by Mr. Bolton and the Motion was approved 4-0.

Motion to untable the item by Mr. Brady, seconded by Ms. Hegedus and the Motion was
approved 4-0.
Staff gave a short presentation of the changes on this item. Applicant is adding windows on
blank wall. Staff is recommending approval.
Applicant presented and stood for questions. The Board expressed concern about the
bulkiness of the building. The Board expressed content with the way the applicant had
addressed all the items that the Board had objected to last meeting.
There was no public comment.
Motion to approve subject to Staffs recommendations by Mr. Brady, seconded by Ms.
Hegedus and the Motion was approved 3-1 with Mr. Bolton voting against it.

Mr. Kendall presented the two story addition. Staff is recommending approval. There was
discussion amongst the Board members about the application. The Board asked
questions. Mr. Bruce gave explanations about the application.
There was no public comment.
Motion to approve subject to Staffs recommendations including relocating stairs in
setback acceptable to Staff and in full compliance with 10 feet setback and for windows
to be placed on blank wall as agreed by Agent, Motion by Mr. Brady, seconded by Ms.
Hegedus and the Motion was approved 4-0.

6) CONTINUED ITEMS
6. A Discussion and possible action for changing the maximum permitted height of gates or
structures in the front yard.
Direction for Staff from the Board:
1. Inappropriate to change Code for everyone.
2. If true hardship then bring application to the Board.
3. Consider asking for a variance.
Check for Code in Aventura, Pine Crest, Coral Gables, and Miami Beach.
Discussion regarding the maximum area of artificial grass in the rear yard.
The Board is in support of increasing the total amount of turf in residential areas. The Board
would like for Staff to bring forth more information about other municipalities Code's and what
they allow. Staff agreed to bring more information from Pine Crest, Coral Gables, Hollywood
and two other municipalities to compare.

7) BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS
Mr. Bolton mentioned 1276 NE 93 Street and other address given to Staff for input on the building of
structures like this ones. Staff informed the Board that he will bring back this item next meeting.
