METHODOLOGY: Visual Inspection using Approved Permit documents
At the request of the Contractor, we visited the Siite, and performed a visual inspection
of the framing to verify conformity to the approved permit documents and FBC and
found the following:
1) Columns. 2- 3" X 8" X 1/8 Al. chanels connected to footing with embedded 12" X
12" X 3/4 Al plate with 4 3/4" x 6-1/4 wedge anchor and prewelded 3/8 X 2-1/8 al.
chanels with '/2 " ss screws.
2) Beam: 3" X 10" Aluminium connected to columns with aluminium plate and 9-1/2"
X 1 ss screws.
3) Rafters: 2" X 8" wood attached to Al.with '/z" thru bolt into a prewelded 3" X 4 al.
channel @ 19" o/c.
We confirm that these installations conform with approved permit documents and
Florida Building Code 2017
To the best of my knowledge and ability, this report represents an accurate appraisal of
the present condition of the building based upon careful evaluation to the extent
