1) CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Castellanos called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM

3) ACTION ITEM(S)
3.A Approval of the Minutes for September 23, 2020
Motion to approve the Minutes for September 23, 2020 by Ms. Bonaduce, seconded by
Chairman Castellanos and the Motion was approved 2-1 with Ms. Frehling abstaining.

3.B Recommendation for nomination for historic designation. For 230 NE 94 Street, Miami Shores,
FL 33138
Mr. Castellanos gave a brief presentation about the home considered for nomination to be Historic.
Mr. Bob Smith, owner of 230 NE 94 Street gave a brief introduction and explained his desire to have his
home nominated as a Historic Home.
Ms. Bonaduce spoke briefly about the designation and thanked Mr. Smith.
Mr. Kendall advised as to what will be the next step, if approved by the Historic Preservation Board.
Motion to approve the nomination by Mr. Castellanos, seconded by Ms. Bonaduce and the
Motion was approved 4-0.

4) DISCUSSION ITEM(S) - TBD by the Board
Discussion by the Staff and the Board regarding current regulations.
Next meeting after this item has gone through the Planning Board and Council.
Chairman Castellanos proposed to have Ms. Mary Benton's house as house of the month in
March 2021. Staff please coordinate to have it on the March newsletter.
May is National Historic Month — Ms. Bonaduce would like to have a presentation if Covid-19
permits.
Staff would like to minimize the meetings unless there is an item to present before the Board.
Annual report due to Council at the end of the year.
Staff recommends once we have an item to present.
