After carefully evaluation we concluded that the repaired beam is in comply as follow: -The new beam segments are of the same type of the existing ones. -The new segments are strong enough to bear the estimated loads. -There were no holes with a diameter greater than acceptable. Repairs were done as follows; reinforced beam with 8ft of cured wood along both sides bolted in with 5/8 screws and nuts each 10" apart from one another interleaved between the top and the bottom of the beam. -The new beam segments are the same type of the existing ones. - The new segments are strong enough to bear the estimated loads. -There are no holes with a diameter greater than acceptable.
