So they told me it had td be a roofing permit because the sealer is a roofing product not a paint product. Building manager said it had to be ok with you. So any chance you and the building manager can have a quick conversation and let me know what color sealer I can put on? The Behr rep said he could try to match the current, but you know how faded my roof the is. I would be happy with white or a medium gray. If it is a seal, you must get approval from the Building Department. (6) Roofing materials. All roofs with inclines of not less than two and one-half inches per foot and all mansard fascia's shall be limited to the following materials: a. Clay tile the color of which is impregnated with the same color intensity throughout; b. White concrete tile; c. Solid colored cement tile impregnated with the same color intensity throughout; d.Thick butt variegated slate; 4.The color of the roof material shall be a non -reflective neutral color that shall not overwhelm or cause the roof to stand out in a significant manner.
