The seawall shall be installed in line with the adjacent seawall. Filling of the existing 14.7 foot wide by 35.1 foot long (516 square foot) boat notch with 134 cubic yards of clean fill. The filling of the boat notch will occur after the installation of the new seawall. Installation of 3 king piles located between 17.3 and 32 linear feet from the east property line. Installation of 17 batter piles and 150 linear feet of concrete seawall cap spanning the length of the property. The seawall cap will measure 3 feet wide by 1.7 feet high and extend 1.7 feet waterward of the wetface of the seawall. Installation of a 5 foot wide by 100 foot long (500 square foot) marginal wood dock located between 33 and 133 linear feet from the east property line. The dock will be supported by 9 new wood piles and 2 new concrete piles. Installation of a 20,000 pound capacity elevator boatlift installed on the waterward edge of the marginal dock between 121.5 and 132.5 linear feet from the east property line and extending 10 feet waterward of the dock. The boatlift will be supported by 2 new concrete dock piles. B. REQUIRED MITIGATION: In order to mitigate for the water quality impacts associated with the seawall installation, and in order to extend the life of the seawall and provide habitat for a variety of invertebrates and protective cover for small fish, 7.4 cubic yards of riprap (approximately 10 tons) are required. Since it is not feasible to place the mitigation on-site due to site conditions, DERM is willing to accept a contribution to the Biscayne Bay Environmental Enhancement Trust Fund.
