Dear Building Official:
This is to inform you. I made a field inspection of the soil after the excavation around pool
concrete slab and the conditions of the soil were the same as the ones on which the design was
based on, basically sand and rock with a bearing capacity of 2000 PSF.
To the best of my knowledge, belief and professional judgment, this report represents an
appraisal of the present condition of the soil, based on visual observation of the exposed areas to
the extended reasonably possible
The structure "is structurally sound" and in compliance with Florida Building Code 2014 5Th
edition and safe for the current specified use and continued occupancy.
