When testing, before installing the battery, use a rubber band to temporarily secure the two magnetic sensors together with the errows pointing toward each other to avoid setting off the alarm unintentionally. During the actual Installation of the alarm, it's best to install the battery after it's mounted to avoid the alamr going cif unintentionally. 2. Remove the battery cover of the unit and instatl a new 9 Volt battery. Replace cover. (See Fig. 2) 3.
