Advisory Board Meeting

Meeting was called to order at 5:32 pm
May meeting minutes were approved
A.Pozzi—Starting the second round of aerification and verticutting of the tees,approaches and collars
R. Marando—What happened on#10 fairway?
A. Pozzi—
• Will look into it
• Next week there will be a deeper verticut on the fairways,we have a new unit that goes deeper into
the thatch
• Ready for the 2017—2018 membership billing,there will be a couple of changes.
• The cart rate will go from$22 to$25 (18 holes)and$13 to$15 (9 holes)
• The executive member dues rate will increase$30 for residents and$45 for non-residents,the cart
for the executive will be$27 for weekdays
• The social membership for residents will go from$225 to$250 and for non-residents from$300 to
$325
A. Pozzi for M. Griffith—
• Here for Father's Day and was shocked about how poorly some of the guests were dressed,
especially when you consider they are attending a holiday event at a Country Club
• The food was excellent
A.Pozzi—will discuss how to address the dress code internally with the staff
New Business:
M. Wilcoxen—The MSWGA are still playing during the summer even though a lot of the members are away
M. Mennes—
• The night of the Curley event,there were at least 300 people here
• Came for lunch on a Tuesday and the order did not come out all at the same time
L. Mennes—because a lot of people are out of town and the summer rains,I haven't played a lot
R.Raymond—
• Was out of town in Europe
• When reading the May meeting minutes,the amount of residents that are members of the Country
Club seems very low

A. Pozzi—
• Function of demographics,when we were a members only club we had 350 social resident
memberships
• With the Club open to the public,membership is not a requirement to use the facilities
R. Raymond—
• Ever considering doing a flea market where members can come sell their old clubs?
• Would you consider having a string quartet on a Thursday or Friday?
A. Pozzi—
• We have not thought about it,will discuss the feasibility with the golf professional staff
• Pavel will look into it,the idea has merit
M. Gallo—
• Raising the annual membership fees is the right thing to do
• Why can't Alexis take tee times earlier than 6:30 am?
A.Pozzi—
• If we start taking tee times earlier then we will be moving the window beyond the seven day
advance tee time member privilege. The first tee time this time of the year is 6:39 am as we have to
allow the golf course maintenance crew to complete their work ahead of the first golfers that tee off
• Not one member has an advantage over another,staff takes the tee time reservations in the order the
calls come in
• This time of the year we are able to accommodate all members pretty close to their ideal tee off
time. We will experience some difficulties in the fall and spring when we are not able to schedule
the first tee time until 7:20
R. Marando—
• Have you thought of doing a two or three year membership?
• How about having a members only happy hour?
A.Pozzi-
• No,we have not. We will discuss the concept with our outside accountants and attorneys as there
are accounting and tax ramifications as well as lease agreement considerations
• We will create a members only special event. The GrooveDogz will be performing on August 3`d
B. Brown—Has been out of town for two weeks
H.Orlin—
• Camp started,slow last week because of the weather,but this week a lot more campers are signed
up
• The courts have been resurfaced and they look great
P. Arutyunov—Everything is good with food and beverage

A.Garcia-
• MSMGA has 29 members
• The Saturday stableford event has anywhere between 10 and 17 players
• 23 players are signed up for the firecracker open
• The British Open Championship tournament is scheduled for July 23
• The course conditions are great
• The next round of green aerification is scheduled for July 17 and 18
R. Strickland—No comments
The next meeting is scheduled for July 26th
