Advisory Board Meeting

Meeting was called to order at 5:37 pm
February meeting minutes were approved
A.Pozzi—The season is coming to an end. Rounds of golf have started to diminish. Dining Room and
Banquet still continue to be strong and we expect it to remain so till beginning of July. The Club enjoyed a
successful golf season.
New Business:
M. Griffith—Enjoyed St. Patrick's Day,loved the corned beef and boiled potatoes. Happy to see a great
turnout
M. Wilcoxen—
• Peggy Butts is the new Ladies Club Champion
• Licka Degwitz is the new Ladies Handicap Champion
• The ladies enjoyed themselves at Licka's tournament
• Six ladies played here from Diplomat Country Club and they had a great time
• Austin Smith's assistance is very valuable to the ladies golf association
L. Mennes—
• Tennis Court operations are running smoothly
• The renovations to the tennis complex are progressing very slowly
A.Pozzi—The decorative rock for the tennis entrance will be delivered tomorrow
B. Brown—What is Seth planting by#12 on the right hand side of the fairway bunker?
A. Pozzi—It will be a native plant vegetation pond
M. Mennes—It is nice to see more members from the Men's Golf Association playing on Saturdays
C. Baetzel—There were 24 players this past Saturday,which was a very nice turnout
M. Gallo—Miami Shores Country,Club men's golf association will be playing the men's golf association
from Miccosukee Golf Club on Saturday April 29
R. Raymond—No comments

• Inquired about the school's PTA fundraiser
• The club championship was a great event

P.Arutyunov—On any Thursday after 5 pm,the Club contributes 10%of the check amount from any
customer who mentions that they are representing one of the participating schools(St. Rose of Lima,
Treasure Island Elementary or Doctors Charter School). Members receive 10%in addition to the
contribution to the school
B. Brown—everything has been covered,No Comments
C. Baetzel—
• The golf course is in great condition
• John Accornero,VP of the Men's Golf Association is very enthusiastic about the MSMG and is
working diligently to organize the first competitive event
• Bill Griffith won the Men's Club Championship for the 8`"time
• To insure the integrity of handicaps and tournament results, it is critical that all participants adhere
to the rules of golf. We have recently had some after-the-fact complaints regarding rules violations,
we recommend that to avoid any controversies,if you observe a rule violation you bring it to the
violators' attention or immediately report it to the Professional Staff. We cannot enforce rules after
the end of an event
