Advisory Board Meeting
Wednesday,February 26,2014
Present: M. Wilcoxen,L. Mennes,M. Mennes,B.Brown,R. Chavez,C.Baetzel,
R. Strickland and Alberto Pozzi
Meeting was called to order at 5:30 pm
A. Pozzi—
• Weather has been cold and rainy in January which had a severe impact on the number of rounds
played
• We have completed the tree pruning project on the golf course
• We rolled out a new Lunch Menu,response has been very positive
New Business:
M. Wilcoxen—
• Licka Degwitz won the Wilcox Tournament
• Tomorrow we play Beat the Champ Tournament
• Next week we will play the 1St round of the Club Championship
L. Mennes—
• Howie has indicated that Membership has exceeded last year's numbers
• Woman's team is in 1St place
B. Brown—How often do the courts need to be resurfaced?
A. Pozzi -Complete resurfacing should be done every 2 to 3 years
M. Mennes—
• Need to look at the maintenance of the sand traps,need to get the sand back in the middle of the
traps
• Golf Course looks packed
• Chris and Trace did a nice job at the member/staff tournament
• Why do the crows tear up the green but not the tee box on#10?
• There are a lot of old tree holes on#13 and#16 and the golf carts pay for it
M.Wilcoxen—#10 beyond drainage on fairway there is a hole

• Member Match Play—Mr. Mennes and Mr. Brown won
• Billy and Tania Davis won the Valentine's Tournament
• Brunch was fantastic
• Everyone had a good time at the member/staff tournament
• We are going to have a booth at Unity Day on Saturday
• We have been sending out monthly emails of upcoming events
�R. Chavez—
• Lunch business has been consistently busy
• Thursday dinner business has been inconsistent
• Fridays dinner business have been busy
• Sunday brunch has been very busy
• Hearing good comments from the new Lunch Menu
R. Strickland—No comments

Advisory Board Notes
As we begin 2014,this year appears to be an exciting one at the
club...First, our membership has surpassed last years numbers and it
continues to grow .. Our drop-in and hourly play has increased which has
also contributed to more member play.
Our Adult Programs includes a Women's and Men's league (our women's
team is currently in first place in the 2 leagues they participate in ), Adult
clinics for all levels which is offered days, nights and weekends, Round
Robin tournament events, a Drop-in Game Arranger service,and Private
and Semi-private lessons .
Our Junior Program includes a Junior Development Academy ,After-
School clubs and instructional programs,and Private and Semi-private
lessons. Our Saturday PlayDay, a new program, offers Complimentary
competitive organized play for all our junior players. All information is
available on our website and Pro Shop.
We continue to pride ourselves on having the BEST CLAY courts in the
area. Our recent resurfacing of all the clay courts was just completed.
In February, we host a Fund Raiserifor JAFCO, an organization serving
abused,neglected,and special needs children in our community. In addition,
plans are underway for our Spring Holiday Tennis and Golf camp.
In all, our Tennis Complex continues to "serve aces " and as always we
will strive to maintain and improve all areas of our operations.
