Strickland, and A. Pozzi New Business: A. Pozzi— • Have to finalize two issues with the Department of Environmental Resources with pollution • Have to cap certain areas with asphalt, certain areas exceed the amounts of arsenic allowed by DERM • New regulations, have to remove the existing gas tanks and replace with double wall gas tank will cost between $140,000 and $150,000, the removal alone will be between $35,000 and $40,000 • The cost for the asphalt will be between $85,000 and $90,000 • Pleased with the golf course conditions for this time of the year • Received word that Quayside will not continue their membership K. Harris—Quayside changed to a corporation and it states that it is not allowed to belong to an outside business, effective September 30, 2008 A. Pozzi—Will talk to some members on the board, will create a modified membership and offer a early sign up bonus H. Spahn—Was here for prime rib night, very nice and service was very good J. Spahn—Thanked Ron for participating in beat the Pro K. Harris— Sunday brunches are very good, and the course is excellent L. Mennes— • Summer camp is excellent, considering the economic condition • The kids are learning a lot and having fun • Monday nights are for mixed doubles and we have a round robin for about 20 people • The women had their end of year clinic here, food was very good • Courts are in great condition now that it has been raining B. Swan— • Nice to see everyone back • The condiment tray at the bar is pretty nasty • Should go to squeeze bottles M.S.C.C. Sickelsmith— • Had a wedding show earlier this month, was very well received • Kids are having a good time • We have scheduled our 5th wine tasting for October 2, 2008 to feature Spanish Wine • Our 4th wine tasting will be on July 24th and will feature Spanish Wines R. Strickland— • Handed out 37 packets at the bridal show, hopefully we will book at least one event from it • The bridal show was ver,,well received from vendors and brides, it was a good networking event R.
