Advisory Board Meeting
Wednesday, February 27, 2008
Present: B. Swan, L. Mennes, H. Spahn, J. Spahn, K. Harris, R. Baker,
R. Sickelsmith, R. Strickland, and A. Pozzi
A. Pozzi—Everyone should have received the comment card in mail today
R. Sickelsmith—Questioned someone about membership and they live in Quayside, they were
pleased that we were checking
A. Pozzi -
• We had fifty reservations for the wine tasting and 23 were not members of the club
• Next wine tasting will be mid April
• Men's locker room has full cable
• New beer cooler installed
• Fifth beer installed
• First aid training scheduled for this week
• Heard a rumor that Miami Country Day might be purchasing the Town Athletic Club
• Awning replaced last week
R. Baker—
• Had eleven couples for the Valentine's Tournament
• The couples tournament is the 15`x' and 16t"
• April 5t" and 6"' is the Club Championship
New Business:
K. Harris—Food is great
A. Pozzi—Comments from a Quayside member said that the newsletter are being thrown away
R. Strickland - Spoke to the H.O.A. and said they put the newsletters in each of the towers

J. Spahn—
• Luncheon for Dorothy Grant was very nice
• Will check with the ladies on.what they think about the re-rating of the golf
course
• Soap dispenser in locker room have been out of commission
• What is the procedure when you see people walking in the sand traps?

A..Pozzi-
• Call Pro Shop when you see people walk in the sand traps, if it happens more
than one they will be asked not to come back
• 2 of 3 of the soap dispensers have been replaced
H. Spahn—The service on Wednesday, Prime Rib Night was very poor, there was no
supervision
A. Pozzi —Discussed the situation at length—have been overstaffing
L. Mennes—
• Women's team have three more matches
• Howie started a women's clinic on Monday Nights
• The service was excellent for Mayor's Ball
B. Swan—
• Thank you for the follow up on the first aid training
• Food is very good, nice new menu
H. Spahn—what are we doing at the bar?
R. Baker--Club's policy is to not put anyone in between any groups
R. Sickelsmith—
• Mayor's ball was well received
• Approached the service issue that Mr. Spahn had
• Currently working on upgrading and re-pricing wine menu
• Seeing some cuts that city's are making with there annual functions
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
