Review of Minutes:
• Wednesday Night themed buffets will resume in November

• Membership billing is on the way out
• Started Mini Tagwol for 6-8 weeks
• Reduced Valet service to Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday
New Business:
Spahn—Change the spot of where jackets are required on the Newsletter
O'Hare—Upset about no Prime Rib dinners. The Thursday group is going down, there
are 13 members.
Pozzi—In November the first Wednesday will be Prime Rib. The fourth Wednesday of
each month will be when all the club's meet. A lot of people are leaving the
game, not that many people are taking it up. "Golf Glut"was the cover of
Baron's, "people are not playing golf as much as they used to."
Mennes—Tennis for the summer is going very well, the "A"team has 4 and the `B"team
between 8 to 12 players on a Tuesday.
Seth—We got new golf equipment, better cuts.
Pozzi—New grinders for reels and bed knives, $150,000 for the new equipment, the
pressure is on Seth to show the value. Seth is doing a great job with the golf
course.
Howie—The tournaments need to be promoted sooner, will put a bulletin board over the
water fountain. Summer camp was phenomenal, had 37 kids in the middle of
July.
Pozzi—This summer camp has run the smoothest, really lucky with the kids.
Howie—Lights ready to go, had to get bids on the landscaping (very expensive), and
does not want to go that route, will go to the board in September. Have to make
sure spillage is in code, takes roughly a month to complete, FPL will have to
come out, hopefully to start October 1.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
