REVIEW OF LAST MONTH'S MEETING MINUTES
Alberto displayed the material and color swatches for redecorating the clubhouse. The
irrigation is in place, but now has to be programmed. It will be at least another month
before complete. Membership has been as good as it was expected to be.
NEW BUSINESS:
Mrs. O'Hare—Membership in the Miami Shores Ladies Golf Assoc. is down by 3 or 4
from last year.
Mr. Thornton -Asked what the So. Fla. Water District was doing at the dam, because you
cannot cross the bridge. Is it going to be closed the rest of the hurricane season?
Alberto —The past week the forecasts for tropical storms has prompted the Water District
to get prepared for the stone. We do not know how long everything will be out there.
Mrs. Mennes—The transition with the new management has been easy. The members
seem to like Howie Orland. ^\
Mr. Harris—What are you going to do with the tree on#4. The course looked good
today.
Alberto- We are going to try to save it.
Mr. Upthegrove—Agrees with Mr. Harris, the course looked good. However, when he
played the cups had not been cut right. One of the cups was raised.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
