REVIEW OF LAST MONTH'S MEETING MINUTES
NEW BUSINESS
Alberto distributed a list of the proposed Capital Improvements for the upcoming year.
Alberto reviewed the completed projects and the pending projects.
I. Mr. Thornton -Everyone enjoys the Bridge Party and we will continue to have the
party through April
2. Mr. Spahn- Asked Alberto if he would start loQking into renovating the lounge.
Alberto said that was planned for the summer of 2003. Also the cart path stencils
have worn off. Mr. Spahn mentioned that there was wild grass all over the greens and
in front of some greens it looked bare. Asked if this was caused by Mole Crickets.
Alberto plans to go after foreign grass, spray and fertilize as soon as the crew finishes
putting sand in the traps.
3. Mr. Harris:-Noticed some crab grass along some of the tees and greens.
Alberto- We are still spraying but have stopped to work on trees. Mr. Harris asked if
we could cut back Ficus on #4.
4. Mrs. Romanik -Asked about the contamination in the soil and asked if the Club was
moving fast enough.
Alberto said we are moving according to the DERM program that has been set up.
5. Mrs. Mennes—Teams still winning, B- Team has just enough people. Also reported
that Mike Melanefy was supposed to have the Junior Tournament and had X'd out the
courts. The members were not notified that the tournament had been cancelled and
that the courts would be open. Mrs. Mennes also asked about guest fees and guest
days.

Alberto explained that there had been a typographical error when the rules were
published and we had to honor what had been typed, and there are no guest days.
Mrs. Mennes—The Air conditioning in the Ladies Room isn't working properly.
6. Mr. Upthegrove -In as many years as he has been a member of the Club the greens
have never been better.
7. Mrs. O'Hare- Announced that there are several new members in the Ladies Golf
Assn., and the tournament is going great.
8. Mr. Kretzschmar—The number of golfers seem to be up recently. Also asked how
often the Core Harvester is used.
Alberto said it is used mainly in the summer months. Alberto also reminded everyone to
sign up for the Club Championships.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned.
