Advisory Board Meeting
July 31, 1991

Meeting called to order by acting chairman, Ernest Upthegrove at 5:35.
Report by Club Manager Chuck Hart:
- Range tee is in the process of being sodded.
- Range lights are to be tested August 1st.
- New greens are being sprigged, with a most likely first play date of September 25th.
- All earthwork on new holes has been completed.
- Sodding will be completed within another week.
- Task still to be completed:
- Install split rail fence from cart barn over to 10th tee.
- Plantings for ends of range tee.
- Planting for split rail fence.
- Asphalting of cart paths.
The conditions which lead to the flooding which occurred Saturday, July 27, will be
corrected.
Food and beverage operations continue to improve; complaints are down, and the
operation showed its first month of profit.
The proposed dues structure for 1992 was discussed:
- With the exception of the intermediate membership, dues will not increase.
- Intermediate membership to increase to $15,000 for nonresidents, and $11,000
for residents.
- Cart fees will increase slightly.
- Trail fees for walkers to be reinstated.
- The Dues and Booze event has been schedules for September 25th.
Golf Learning Center is up and operating as a separate organization; George Ryden will
be Director and Al Orlebeke will be Lead Instructor.
Lights for the tennis facility may be forthcoming. A proposed dues increase would fund
the capital expenditure and the ongoing.additional operating expenses.
Ernest Upthegrove expressed concern about the growing number of children playing on and
walking through the course. Chuck Hart stated that he was aware of the situation and that
appropriate actions will be taken.
Meeting was adjourned at 6:20.
Next meeting is scheduled for August 28, 1991.
