The following information was added to the RCP plans Sheet A1.1 with a sketch -of the hood: "The proposed hood is 600 cfm and as per FBCR M1503.4 needs no make-up air as there are no gravity vent appliances in the space." "The 'developed' length of the hood duct is less than the manufacture's maximum allowed length." B: Building (or electrical comment) COMMENTS FROM ISMAEL NARANJO 3/2/18 1. Provide smoke detectors as required under section R314.3.1. 1. I apologize I did not show smoke detectors as we are not changing the bedrooms. I have added smoke detectors and FBC R314.3.1 notes to the overall plan found on the title sheet and to the Reflected Ceiling Plan Sheet Al .1. As per R314.3.1 the detector must be with a silencer switch or photoelectric and as per R315.1.2 the smoke detector(s) outside the bedroom(s) must be dual smoke and carbon monoxide capable (or separate devices). I will check with the GC to see if the existing detectors are compliant if not we will change them. 2. Please Note: I added the smoke detectors to the Electrical Plan. There was no rejection from Electrical but, I added anyway.
