The NAC outputs are rated at 3.0 amps each and the auxiliary output is 'rated 'at 2.0 amps (this output is continuously supplied, even, in alarm, -and, there- fore •must be taken into account for power supply, loading and battery size calculations). The combined output cannot exceed 12.0 amps. ,The HPFF12 and HPFF12CM provide independent output cir- cuit supervision so in the event of a, NAC fault they can notify the attached FACP. in addition they have a trouble memory feature that displays past troubles (by NAC) for rapid diagnos- tics. Synchronization is built in for five appliance brands' • The HPFF12 and HPFF12CM have two fully,, independent supervised initiating circuits that canbe used for synchronized strobes and coded horns: Their NAC 'outputs may be"config- }ured as any of the following: ,.1 • four Class. Up to three HPFF12Ciu1 sup- plies can be mounted in a D-sized EQ cabinet in positions 2, 3, and 4. Each HPFF12CM can accommodate two 12AH batter- ies. One of the most challenging aspects of a retrofit application is locating the existing End -of -Line (EOL) resistor. In these appli- cations that have EOL values other than the 3.9k normally used with the HPFF12, a single resistor matching the existing EOL can be used as a reference for all the outputs. This fea- ture speeds installation and system , checkout because the • actual EOL does not need to be located and changed in the circuitAThe reference resistor must be within the range of 1.9k to 25k. When used in a backup role, the communicator assesses the connection to the PSTN phone line, and if that has failed, it then connects to the HSPA network to send an alarm signal to the monitoring station. In a primary role, the communicator simply sends the alarm transmission over the I-ISPA network immediately. 4' communications •.•• ••••s • •-• •r • • •, •• • • •• • • :• O. • • • •• • • • • • •• - Alarm *nets §re tray smu ted - -- directly Io the IP linecrel tvf the • monitoring gtaaion rec@iyer.(Sur-G fd• • • • System I/II/IIVIV) withowtthe'need of • clearinghouse involvement. • • • • • • •. • Activating & Initializing the Unit Activating and initializing the 3G3070 can be done using the'automated telephone activation system (VRU), mobile interface or web -user interface provided by CONNECT 24. SILENT KNIGHT by Honeywell (B200sIB200s-LF) (Intelligent Sounder Base) The B200S sounder base series is designed for new and existing commercial dwelling unit applications. It offers maximum flexibility in installation, configuration, and operation to meet or exceed UL 268 and UL''464 requirements. For more information about the IntelliKnight system, or to locate your nearest source, please call 1-800-328-0103. B200S(B200S-LF) The sounder base "listens in" to the communication between the attached sensor head and the fire alarm control panel (FACP) to adopt the same address as the detector, but as a unique device type on the loop: The FACP can then use that address to command an individual sounder — or a group of sounders — to activate. In addition, the FACP's will enable custom tone patterns. The B200S series sounder bases recognize the System Sensor synchronization protocol. This enables it tb be used 'as a component of the general evacuation sigrial — along with other System Sensor horns, horn 'strobes, and chimes — when connected to a FACP 'output prograrmed as sounder base power. The B200S-LF low frequency sounder base is designed to meet the NFPA 72 sleeping space requirement to produce a fundamental frequency of 520 Hz +/- 10%'with a square wave or its equivalent. Studies show that a lower frequency, centered around 520 Hz, is the most ideal to awaken sleeping occupants, even those with mild to severe hearing loss. s (Features) • Addressability for maximum configuration flexibility • Supports Continuous, ANSI Temporal 3, ANSI Temporal 4, and March Time tones • Custom tone capability with some FACP models • • Ability to synchronize with other System Sensor notification devices • UL 268 and UL 464 compliant • Pre -wire mounting plate fits various junction box sizes • Uses a mechanical locking feature that prevents the removal of the attached sensor head • No external relays and input modules needed to supervise the Aux power • 520 Hz +/ ;..10%.square,wave tone,(B200S-LF ) - Installation The B200S series sounder bases can be mounted directly to 4"'(10.16 cm) square, 4" (10.16-cm) octagon, 3 1/2" (8.9 cm) octagon, single -gang or double -gang junction boxes. 5700 (510-£.3) 5820XL 5820XL-EVS (B200S_LF) • (• t-- t{! t :ram •'''' _ • • j •` • • •v. -- •• • `i • • • • • • • • • • • ••V -- 7\ l's y ...-,-,- -., •w -_• ,•'' • • •• •• (Compatibility) • - • B20bS • • • • • •• •' The B200S series is compatible with•tie• • • following SK-series detectors programmed, for System Sensor protocol (Firmware version of 13.0 or higher):' • SK-Fire-CO Addressable Combination Fire and CO Detector • SK-Photo Photoelectric Smoke Detector and SK=Photo-T Photoelectric Smoke Detector with Thermal • SK-Acclimate Multicriteria Photoelectric Smoke Detector 1 • SK-Ion Ionization Smoke Detector • SK-Heat Fixed Temperature Thermal Detector, SK -Heat-ROR Rate -of -Rise Detector with Thermal, and SK-Heat-HT Fixed High Temperature Thermal Detector The B200S/B200S-LF are compatible) with the following IntelliKnight FACP's: t • • • • • • • • P/N 351565 Rev A © 2014' Honeywell International Inc. • •- Model. Fire alarm system meets NFPA 72 and NFPA 101 requirements. FIRE ALARM NOTES: The purpose of this project is to install a fire alarm system. The fire alarm system is power limited. All components are UL listed for the purpose intended and cross -listed with the fire alarm control panel. Fire Alarm System shall be totally supervised. This system is a Local fire alarm system. The system shall have battery back-up. The battery back-up system will operate the fire alarm under quiescent load for a minimum of 24 hours and then afterwards, sound the fire alarm for 5 minutes as per NFPA 72 4.4.1.5.3.1 Maximum number of smoke detectors per circuit Is 30. Existing structure is 2 story dormitory and without a fire suppression system. Ceiling Height is 10'. Existing smoke detectors in dormitory rooms are signal station 110v with battery back-up. Pull stations are to be installed 48' off the floor, strobe lights 80' off the floor. The installation shall comply with N.E.C. chapter 760 and N.F.P.A. 72 minimum conduit size is 1/2" maximum conduit fill is 40%. Wire used is 18 gauge FPLR for initiating, 16 gauge FPLR for indicating circuits. Fire alarm control panel to be powered by a dedicated circuit breaker with breaker lock and will be labeled as 'FIRE ALARM CIRCUIT CONTROL'. Strobe lights are 75 cd. Visual alarm per AN.S.I. A117.1.4.26 and the FBC installation complies with FBC 11-4.28. Notification appliance circuits (NAC) shall be class 'B' style "Y', with an average output of 2.5 amps. A completed NFPA Fire Alarm Certification of Completion shall be prepared prior to the final fire inspection. Fire Alarm Log Book shall be located near the fire alarm control panel. The log book will contain the following: Log Book Sheet, Operation Manuals, and 'As -Built' fire alarm plans. Voltage Drop Calculations ONICEt ON M1A71YO DEVCEM00R MOWER .......... . .
